Milan Fashion Week // Jil Sander Autumn/Winter 2016
Behind the scenes: Designer Rodolfo Paglialunga knows exactly what Jil Sander wants. His Autumn/Winter 2016 designs for the German brand are a classic mix of oversize silhouettes and sleek designs with a sporty edge. The Italian, who took over as Jil Sander’s creative director in 2014 has turned materials such as metallic coated leather and detailed knits into the latest must-haves. With the majority of the collection being a blend of black & white looks, the highlights came out smashing: Dresses and two-piece outfits in gold, silver and rose metallics are all you’re in for with this Autumn/Winter collection. Needless to say we can not wait for these pieces to hit the boutiques.
If you are a fan of designers such as Céline and Max Mara and you are looking for a brand that is sporty, trés cool and back on the rise: It’s time to give Jil Sander some credit. Take a look behind the scenes and view some fresh-off-the-catwalk styles here.
