Delicious dairy and sugar free Brownies
So many of you have been asking how I make my dairy and sugar free brownies. And now I have finally had the time to write up the recipe. They are super easy to make and have got to be some of my all time favourites (especially regarding they don’t include any bad stuff!) These brownies are a real treat and good for you at the same time. No matter if you are lactose intolerant or on a sugar free diet! This is snacking without having to feel bad at all. And here is how it goes:
– 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
– 150ml agave syrup
– one teaspoon real vanilla from a pod
– 2 large eggs
– 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/3 cup cocoa powder (the real deal please)
– a pinch of salt
– 1/2 cup of almond flour
– 1/2 cup of spelt flour, alternatively you can use chickpea flour too
– 4 tablespoons maple syrup
– a handful dried rose leaves
And here is what you do: Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350° Fahrenheit and start mixing in a bowl, the agave syrup, oil and eggs. Add the vanilla and give it a good stir.
Now start mixing up all the dry ingredients (leave out the rose leaves) in a separate bowl before you add them to the rest! You should be working with a creamy texture.
Grab a fireproof dish and layer it with baking paper, or alternatively grease it. Pour in the mixture and bake for 20 minutes. Use a small fork to check on the brownies. They should be a little soft on the inside once baked!
Take them out of the oven and let them cool down before cutting. Now sprinkle some dried rose leaves on top and enjoy!
