DIY: Cruise Collection 2016
You may have read the article regarding Cruise/Resort Collections, I recently published. With Prada leading on the fashion house collections, summery styles and cruise-worthy looks are set to be sold at very high prices. Though Resort collections have been around for years, only the majority actually buys into them. Leaving us all to dream about the latest winter, or should we rather say vacation wear.
For all those, who do fly into the sun this winter but who aren’t doing a cruise but rather a backpacking trip or simply a nice holiday, why not put together your very own resort wear? Let’s call it DIY: Cruise Collection 2016! After all, there are a few guidelines to follow and I am sure the outfits are going to be spectacular!
1.) Resort collection generally are very colourful. Opt for bold prints, boho skirts and dresses (yes, they should be available during winter season too), colourful heels and chunky statement earrings!
2.) Want to keep it casual? Do it like stylist Pernille Teisbaek and opt for maritime looks. Lots of whites, navy stripes and touches of red add an elegant touch to your summer wardrobe.
