2015 marks the time in which every (!) girl should invest in a slip dress (Read THIS ARTICLE if you need convincing). You may get my excitement for this item as I found out that Maja Wyh had created a capsule collection for EDITED (the online store I work for) – and when I saw this little dreamy all black piece made of silk, I just couldn’t resist #shopaholic. So here I am, wearing nothing but this floaty number, feeling very, ehm, rebellious!

Because instead of pairing this item with heels, I again have opted for my favourite booties, giving the dress an instant everyday look. You can go for sneakers as well, if you wish. I would stay away form heels though, unless you want to make a real impression or head to a date or dinner party, and rather opt for easy wear paired with this little hot slip dress. For cold summer nights, throw your favourite leather jacket on top.

If you think back at how everyone used to wear slip dresses last year, I am talking lace hemlines and a general out of bed look, I kind of prefer this, more wearable option, in which you don’t look like you are actually seductively going to bed. The new slip dresses are super wearable and the perfect choice for hot summer days. Add any bag of your liking and now – happy summer, ladies. xx conny.
