#ootd // Paris mon amour
Only last week, I travelled to beautiful Paris to spend a weekend in the city along the river Seine. To be honest, I didn’t pack much and survived on one piece of hand luggage (yay!). Right after touch down we were greeted with the most amazing spring sunshine we could have hoped for. So after checking into the hotel, we made our way to the Ile de la Cité, an area close to Notre Dame de Paris, which on my many visits to Paris, I had never been able to explore.
Doing a 12km walk that day, I was glad to be wearing my current #sneakercrush! A pair of the latest edition sneakers by Puma x Alexander McQueen – YES – Alexander McQueen’s (I still can’t believe I own a pair of these stylish bad boys). Not only is this high top sneaker super cool but ultra comfy too…wearing them for the first time, many a Parisians stopped me on the street asking for the brand. But let’s get back to business. With around 15°C and a little more in the sunshine, I was covered, wearing a black coat with a cinched waist, ripped denims and my Porsche Design sunnies. It kinda surprised me that I ended up not shopping anything in Paris, bar from a few glittery and colourful macarons at Café Pouchkine. Seriously, you have to hit that place for a yummy in between snack!
A general trip to Paris involves heading from store to store but this time instead we opted for great restaurants, cafés, sights and bars which I did a little personal travel post on HERE. But now monkeys, I have got to pack. There is a new destination coming up and I will fill you in very soon.
Until then, enjoy those first spring rays of sunshine, xx Conny.
