Recap Berlin Fashion Week // Dimitri
Black is the new black: Dimitri Panagiotopoulos’ Autumn/Winter 2016 show was nothing short of the old, new love of the (non) colour black! An array or should we rather say an armada of black dresses, jumpsuits as well as skinny pants and blouses strut down the runway at Berlin’s fashion tent in front oft he Brandenburg Gate on Wednesday afternoon! With materials from leather to feather and accessories such as hoop earrings and 70ies sunglasses, Dimitri Panagiotopoulos’ styles are the perfect day-to-night wear if you are looking to hop from an exclusive lunch cocktail to the next gala in town. Needless to say, his dresses again were couture-worthy with silhouettes ranging from rocky biker straps making for long skirts, worn over a pair of super tight 50ies shorts. Regarding bottoms: High-waist is so now, especially when a belt makes for the perfect display of your waist and the pants are made of lively materials such as leather and silk.
Hold on, did we spot a pair of silver pants somewhere in between? Must have been a once of – but a shiny one after alll. Our favourite up-and-coming must have item: A tailored coat with leather detail on shoulders and waist. All in all Dimitri again rocked the show. Need we say more?
